ABOUT ME
Handfuls of people from around the world help tell my story. I wrote and directed it, and filmmakers shot it with a Canon 5D Mark III and a Canon 6D and edited it.
COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY
I recently graduated from Columbia’s Creative Writing Program with an MFA in fiction. The full-time, 60+ credit program centers around the workshop where students submit their own work and critique their peer's work. Then there are seminars, lectures and master classes where I've learned about style, dialogue, building a scene, form, how to compile a short story collection, structure, plot, character, and much more. I'm currently working on a short story collection and a novella.

I made this for my girlfriend's birthday. Who is now my wife.
GO LOVE
Go Love started with the insight that it’s not who you love, it’s that you love. There’s definitely mixed feelings about Valentine’s Day: some want a Valentine, some need one and others don’t mind if they have one or not. What’s universal, though, is the need to give and receive love, and that even can be done with a stranger on a subway. I hope this film makes people around the world smile and see how love can take many forms. I wrote and directed it and my friend filmed it. It was seen over 65k times in over 150 countries.

PAYPHONE FUNERAL
New York City payphones are now things of the past. They aren't being used much anymore and the city is even getting rid of them. This marks a revolutionary time in history as this piece of genius is being replaced by other mediums. My condolences. There was no better way to celebrate all the payphone has done for us and to see it off for a final time than to have a payphone funeral. The funeral took place in Manhattan, New York City, by the West 4th subway station. I wrote and directed it and someone I met on Craigslist filmed it with his Canon 5D.

A BOY AND HIS BIKE
This is a film I made that documents my three day bicycle trip from New York City to Boston. I borrowed my friend's Nikon d5200, bought a tripod and threw it in my single speed's basket.
CHESS IS LIFE
This is a story of chess, life and drugs told by a wise chess player in Washington Square Park in New York City. It's my first film (as you can tell). I borrowed my friend's tripod, my other friend's Canon EOS Rebel T2i camera, and shot and edited it.
VOICEOVER
I’ve done VO for internal / rewards work.
CLASSIFY
Two Miami Ad School creatives and I co-founded a non-profit ad agency called Classify Advertising (click here for link).
Classify gives Craigslist seller's belongings a heartbeat and voice again, transforming mundane ads into story-led and effective ones.

SOUNDCLOUD
So random but one year at Advertising Week I coincidentally attended a session where the speaker put my face up on the big screen and played a freestyle I had submitted as part of a competition. Didn’t win but got 1.3k listens. Here’s a link.
